Q The use of digital communication has overtaken face-to- face and voice-to-voice communication in the workplace. Has this shift changed the fundamental process of communication?
The shift from face-to-face and voice-to-voice communication in the workplace to digital communication in the workplace has not changed the fundamental process of communication. This shift has made communication more convenient, better and more reachable to more than one individual at a time. Therefore, there has not been any change in the fundamental process of communication because of the shift. The channel of communication in case of digital communication has become transitioned from basic technological and manual channel to highly advanced channel.
