The cultures of American Indians have contributed the production and sustenance of several plants. It would not have been possible for the individuals of the modern generation to ensure proper cultivation of such plants if prior knowledge from the American Indians would not have been gained. Gum is a plant which had been cultivated by the American Indians successfully. Then there had been rubber trees which had been cultivated. Cotton plant had also been cultivated efficiently.
